The latest version of our Custom Facebook Feed Pro plugin is now even faster that ever! We've added an image optimization feature which reduces the size of images used in your feeds, resulting in a faster load time.
The reason we added this is that Facebook only provides full-size images for timeline feeds which often resulted in much larger images than necessary being displayed, slowing the page down. The plugin now resizes those images so that they are displayed at a more optimal size, keeping your page as light and fast as possible!
Update the plugin to v3.14 to have this feature automatically applied to your feeds.
Important: Due to Facebook API changes, after September 4th it will no longer be possible to display feeds from Facebook pages you do not have a role on. We understand that this change will negatively affect some users and apologize for any frustration and inconvenience this may cause.
If you are using the latest version of the WordPress plugin then a notice will be displayed to alert you if this change will affect your feed. does that mean that the smash balloon "multifeed-extension" no longer works if I do not have any role of each facebook site in the multifeed?
Does it have to be full admin, or will Analyst work like it does with Reviews?
So there is no workaround? We have to be admin?
Is there a reason for this change? I have been curating FB pages around specific content for travel and sports. It's nice to have these pages all together on one WordPress page or post. Do you think it could be reversed? Will Instagram follow?
